Olusoji disclosed this on his official facebook page on Tuesday, noting that the journey to achieving this great feat was not easy, but he appreciates his family and everyone involved in seeing him through the journey of earning a university degree, which he promised his parents more than 20 years ago.
“In 2022, I began a journey to study Cyber Security. Today, I can proudly say I have secured my BSc in Cyber Security with a First Class.
“Doing this while working in the Royal Navy, coaching and serving as Chairman of the youth football club my son Oscar plays for, and mentoring Annabelle and Elsa through training and competitions has been one of the hardest challenges of my life.
“There were countless nights studying until 3am, only to wake up at 8am for work. I spent my second year working in Bahrain and studying. Year 3 saw me commuting back and forth to Barnstaple, and still trying to be present for my family and responsibilities.
“People often ask me how I manage it all. The truth is, I don’t really know. All I know is that when I commit to something, I give it everything. That’s how I achieve.
“Back in 2003, I told my parents I would work hard to get my degree when its time. Today, I’ve fulfilled that promise.
“In all I do, I strive to be the best. This is what I hope to instil in my children and everyone around me.
“I want to thank my family and friends for all the support and encouragement throughout this journey. This achievement is not mine alone. Your belief in me kept me going.
“I’m looking forward to my graduation ceremony next year, with my eyes already set on pursuing a Masters in Cybersecurity and AI.
“The journey continues,” he concluded.
