Bauchi FA In Crisis, Congress Impeach Vice Chairman, Three Others

Crisis rocking Bauchi State Football Association under the leadership of Patrick Paschal has taken another dimension with the impeachment of the Vice Chairman of Bauch FA and three other board members, reports www.totorinews.com.

The Congress of the Bauchi State Football passed a vote of no confidence on the Vice Chairman of the Association Adamu Madaki and three other Board members.

Rising from an emergency congress held on Wednesday and attended by all the congress members comprising of the 20 Local Football Councils, the congress resolved to pass a vote of no confidence on the four board which included Kabiru Yusuf, Abdullahi Abdulaziz and Usman Abass Shehu.

According to communique released by the Congress, the Board members were accused of actions that were detrimental to the development of the game in the state.

“The congress acted in accordance with the provisions of Articles 14 of the statutes which gave the congress the power to pass a vote of no confidence on any member found engaging in activities retarding the progress of football in the state”.

The 20 congress members in attendance, appended their signatures in the resolution.

Confirming this in an interview, the Chairman of Bauchi State Football Association Patrick Pascal said the congress members accused the Board members of deliberately refusing to attend the activities of the FA, insubordination to present leadership of FA among other things.
