Barely a month after Chidinma Adetshina emerged first runner-up in the 2024 edition of Miss Universe pageant held in Mexico , Samuel Nwajaju, a 23-year old undergraduate of University of Port Harcourt has won the 16th edition of Mister International pageant.

The grand finale of the pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand. 47 contestants participated and for the first time an African, Nwajaju on the award.

Mister International is second to Mr. World pageant. Africa has never won the award until Saturday 14 December, 2024 when Nwajaju made history. The 16th edition pulled the highest number of pageants across the world.

The Bangkok event is the first time in 16 years, the Mister International Organisation allowed fathers, married, and divorced men to compete.

Mister International was established in 2006 by the late Alan Sim, the former president and founder, the Singapore-based organisation.

The pageant has soared in leaps and bounds to attract participants from over 80 countries, with an annual average of 38 contestants. This year’s edition has the highest number of contestants.

Congratulations Samuel Nwajaju!!!
