Pastor Peteside Idah of Christ Ambassadors Church has revealed that when he called to pray for John Okafor popularly known as Mr. Ibu, he was asked if he wanted the account details of the late Nollywood actor, reports www.totorinews.com.
He disclosed this on his official Facebook page on Tuesday evening, as he also revealed that Mr. Ibu wanted him to cast him a role in a movie years ago, but he declined the offer.
“Rest in peace Mr Ibu. Ibu came to see me in South Africa and wanted me to be in his movie, he wanted me to play a pastor role that did miracles,I turned him down knowing people will use the movie to judge my ministry,” Bishop Idah posted.
“But we remained good friends, when he was sick I called and wanted to pray with him, nut the person on the other side kept asking me if I wanted his account number to send something.
“Rest in peace my friend, Ibu.” The post concluded.
Mr. Ibu passed away on Saturday 2nd March, 2024 at 62 years old.
