Black Stars of Ghana mercurial midfielder, Thomas Partey has been denied an entry visa into Canada for the 2026 World Cup, reports www.totorinews.com.
The Canadian authorities cited Partey’s rape case in England as the main reason for the denial.
Partey played for Arsenal in England for some years before leaving in 2025 for Villarreal in La Liga, Spain.
With this development, Partey will miss Ghana’s first game against Panama in Toronto, but he will be available for the other group games scheduled in United States having been issued visa to the United States.
