Chikelue Iloenyosi, the chairman of Anambra State FA has said that there is a need to re- jig the secretariat and make it very functional, www.totorinews.com reports.

Iloenyosi said that this would be done as soon as he gets formal briefing from the FA scribe, as he insisted that administering football in the state must be done professionally.

“I have met with several stakeholders and it is time to settle down and work. The first step is to make the FA secretariat function the way it should,” Iloenyosi said.

Iloenyosi was full of praise for football stakeholders in the state for the warm reception accorded him when he visited early this week.

“I will carry everybody along and will welcome anybody with a bright idea of how we can develop football in the state. I’m not in the FA to listen to gossips,” he said.
