Mavlon FC continues to display to football fraternity in Nigeria that the club is a hub of talents with the introduction of 10 years old Jeremiah Hunsen in the game against Rising Stars.
One of the talking points at the on – going Mavlon U19 championship at the Legacy pitch, Surulere stadium was when the left- sided attacking midfielder was unleashed 10mins to the end of regulation time and the young Mavlon’s product did not disappoint.
Hunsen played with football intelligence far above his age in the midst of more matured Rising Stars FC players and it was not therefore a surprise when some football fans rushed towards him at the end of the game.
In a brief chat with www.totorinews.com after the game on Sunday, Hunsen said that he did not betray any emotion of fear in the midst of older players, adding that football is football anywhere.
“I just wanted to play according to the instructions of the coaches and I am so happy that I featured in the game,” Hunsen said.
“Football is football. I was not scared at all to play against the older players in the match because I do train with older players in my team inorder for me learn more and be stronger,” he said.
