The spectacular agility of Friday Samuel James in goal for SJK Akatemia in Finland’s Ykkosliiga has not gone unnoticed, after being rated as best goalkeeper with the highest saves, reports www.totorinews.com.

Despite the poor form of SJK Akatemia in the league, James has been able to disguish himself in most matches, where he was even awarded the MVP in some games.
The former Mavlon FC goalkeeper is also in the reckoning for the race of the player of the season, where is currently rated third in that category.

At just 19 years old, a teenager who recently joined the team few months ago, James is re-defining Nigerian football  with his goalkeeping prowess and the future is indeed bright for the Flying Eagles goalkeeper, who represented Nigeria at the football event of the African Games held in Accra, Ghana in 2024.
