Former Flying Eagles striker, Salim Fago Lawal was in terrific form for NK Istra 1961 in the 2- 1 defeat of Osijek in Croatian top flight league cracker, reports www.totorinews.com.
Lawal was a torn in the flesh of Osijek defenders, tormenting them with his pace and aerial prowess, which eventually got rewarded when he scored in the 45th minute.
The goal was a soothing relief for Lawal and his teammates at NK Istra after bombarding their opponents from the blast of the whistle.

Second half was another dramatic affair after substitute Hernâni Fortes levelled scores for Osijek in the 68th minute. The goal brought out a different energy from the visitors, as they defended to avoid conceeding anothe goal from Istra.
And at a time when it looks like both sides will share the points, another substitute Vinko Rozić, but on the side of NK Istra scored three minutes into added time to seal a deserving victory for the host team.
