Sublime duo of Mavlon FC U- 14 players...Noah Olamilekan and Timothy Ijachi
The development template of Mavlon FC was again the reference point after two U- 14 players from their academy were among the four players that were selected in the male category at the just concluded La Liga Next Gen tournament in Lagos on Sunday, reports www.totorinews.com.
Midfield jewel, Timothy Ijachi, who can be described as a raw diamond caught the eyes of the Spanish football experts with his scintilating display in the midfield throughout the tournament, not forgetting to add the exploits of Noah Olamilekan, his fellow teammate from Mavlon, who was a tormentor – in- chief of defenders, as a wing- wizard.
The eight selected U- 14 players – four males and four females
The four male players and their female counterparts will depart Nigeria for Spain in the summer for La Liga Next Gen international tournament where the best of the best of U- 14 players from different countries in South America, Europe, Asia will converge to participate in the tournament.
Over the years, Mavlon FC has proven to be football hub for the development of young talented footballers and it is hoped that Ijachi, Olamilekan and other Nigerian players selected will raise the flag of Nigeria very high in the international La Liga Next Gen in Spain.
