As the Golden Eaglets depart the Shores of Nigeria on Wednesday to Tanzania for the Africa Cadet Under 17 tournament, Kelechi Nwakali has charged the team to work very hard in order to get the reward of winning the tournament.
The captain of victorious 2015 Golden Eaglets said that the players must remain focused on the task ahead in Tanzania, stressing that the team must work hard and play for one another in every game if they want to pass the test among their fellow cadet players from other African nations in the competition.
“Every player must work very hard. To work very hard is very key to success and I believe that this team will excel in Tanzania.” Nwakali said.
“Every game will not be easy. There is a need for every player to play for another.. No individual football in the team but the players must play as a team and fight for every ball.
“Nigeria is blessed with so many football talent and I am sure that the Golden Eaglets will do well and qualify for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup, he said.
