9ja Food Fiesta Will Train Thousands of Nigerians – Mustapha

After creating a platform that trained 1,000 Nigerians in FCT, Abuja on capacity building in the areas of ICT, Agriculture and Culinary, Mohammed Mustapha has said that his dream is to train thousands of Nigerians in those areas, reports www.totorinews.com

Mustapha, the CEO of 9ja Food Fiesta disclosed this to the media in Abuja on Thursday during the event that issued 1,000 certificates to the beneficiaries of the capacity training in Batch A.

“My dream is to do a lot of capacity training for Nigerians across the states of the federation, begining from FCT, Abuja, Mustapha told www.totorinews.com

So, i put together a formidable team under a charity organisation and we started this noble project, which has to do with training and development of the youth and women in ICT, Agriculture that has to do with fishery and poultry and Culinary.

“In batch A, we are glad to have trained 1000 persons in seven culinary schools, IT Schoold snd Agriculture in our different training centres in Abuja.

“We trained them at CBT centre zone 3, Karu, Bwari, Gwarinpa, Lugbe, Jabi, Mararaba, Apo and Kubwa.

“We will embark in batch b of the capacity training in FCT. It will run from next week to December. We will extend the same gesture to the 36 states of Nigeria. We are very determined to make 9ja Food Fiesta more impactive and inclusive.

Speaking further, Mustapha, who is also a FIFA licenced football agent, said that efforts have been put in place to make sure that the people who have concluded the capacity training begin to earn income via the skills taught them by 9ja Food Fiesta.

“We created a database of everyone we have trained and we monitor them to see how they are faring after the training.

“We are also planning to get more partners on board, so that we can give them starter – packs and monitor how they are using it.

“It is one thing to undergo a training just the one we did and another thing is to make good use of the training by being able to generate income with the skills acquired.

He appealed to government, corporate organisations and Nigerians of affluence to help partner with 9ja food fiesta on this noble initiative.

He also commended the organisations that have partnered with them in making this dream a reality.
