Exclusive : Rohr’s factor hit Black Stars in AFCON

With Ghana treading on a very dangerous rope with just one point in two games, an official in the team has pointed accusing finger to the poor tactics of the head of the technical crew led by 67-year-old Serbian, Milovan Rajevac.

In an exclusive chat with www.totorinews.com,  the official who wants to remain anonymous informed that the problem of the Black Stars is the coach, not the players.

“The problem is the coach, nothing to say or add. We have very good players but poor tactics from our coach caused us the draw with Gabon.

“He refused to make changes when it was obvious that he needed to do that to give fresh vigour to the team and the player he delayed to change could not meet up with the pressure from Gabon in the game.

“Gabon continued to attack through the position where the defender plays, until they got their equaliser.

“The same poor tactics and game reading caused us the 3- 0 defeat we suffered against Algeria in our friendly game before the AFCON tournament.

“The same thing was happening to Nigeria under Gernot Rohr before your football chiefs decided to relief him of his job.

“But here in Ghana, we brought back an old man who coached Black Stars at the 2010 world cup in South Africa. He is 67 years old and we are seeing the consequences of our decision.

“I have strong conviction that the Black Stars will qualify for the round of 16,” he consoles himself.
Ghanaian contingent breezed into Garoua last night for their last group game against Comoros Island at the Stade Roumdé Adjia on Tuesday.
