Tochukwu Ogboji, a no – nonsense defender in the Golden Eaglets has said that his teammates will not underrate Morocco, reports www.totorinews.com.
Golden Eaglets will tackle their Moroccan counterpart in a crucial clash on Wednesday to determine the supremacy battle in Group B where both teams have 3 points after winning their first game, with the North Africans having an edge due to better goals difference.
To this effect, Ogboji revealed at the pre – match press conference on Tuesday at the Hamlaoui stadium in Constantine that the game will not be easy.
“The game against Morocco will not be easy. The team is good. Morocco flew into Algeria on Thursday for the tournament, played on Sunday and defeated South Africa 2 -0. This tells us that we should never underrate them,” Ogboji said.
“We hope to continue to improve our game. Work very hard to beat Morocco, but it will not be easy because they are already leading the group and they will want to maintain their grip.
“We will fight for every ball. Defend the national colours of Nigeria and play for 90minutes to make our people at home to be happy,” he said.
