Having watched a keenly contested friendly game between the Golden Eaglets and Bandex Football Academy of Kebbi, which ended 3-2 in favour of Eaglets, Hon. Umar Faruk Bande has charged Manu Garba tutored side to keep improving, reports www.totorinews.com.
The friendly game which was played under the showers of rain at the FIFA goal project on Friday had both teams displayed good football artistries, with Golden Eagles going ahead less than 15 minutes into the game, but Bandex FA were not bothered, as they equalised and went into a 2 – 1 lead, which stood going into the break.

The second half was all about the Golden Eaglets with two quick goals changed the tide in favour of the Nigerian cadets to seal a 3-2 win over the visitors from Bernin Kebbi.
Speaking after the game, Hon. Bande, the chairman of Bandex FA, said that he was very impressed with the performance of his team and the outcome of the friendly game, adding that his team played to win the game.
“We wanted to win. I am impressed with the performance of my team. The outcome is very important and Bandex FA has done well to play against a national team, a great honour that ended in 3-2 defeat. It was only a goal deficit, which is good,” Hon Bande told the media after the game.

On assessment of the Golden Eaglets, the football stakeholder said that the team will keep improving and it is good that an experienced coach like Manu Garba is the head of the technical crew of the team.
“I urge the technical crew to continue to improve the quality of the team, they should continue with their good work. Manu Garba is a very good coach and he is surronded by a team of good coaches. Coaches that deliever the expectations of Nigerians.

“We hope and pray that everything will work out fine for the team. The tactics of the team to implemented and intepreted pretty well on the pitch by the players.
“Golden Eaglets will continue to improve. The coaches are capable of building a very strong team from the players i had seen and watched,” he concluded.
