The sublime midfield display of Wilfred Ndidi for both club and country caught the eyes of Ajax but the approach made from the Dutch club for the Super Eagles captain was rejected by Beşiktaş.
According to report, the proposal discussed was a €2m loan with a €12m buy option for the midfielder, but Beşiktaş are not open to the deal at this stage.
Ndidi had a strong presence in the midfield of the Super Eagles in just concluded AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco, where Nigeria finished with a bronze medal.
