Delivering his keynote goodwill message, Minister Badaru reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR’s dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda, describing national security, unity, and community resilience as central pillars of the administration’s vision.

According to him, safeguarding the nation requires collective responsibility from citizens, traditional institutions, civil society, and state governments.
The Minister commended governors for their proactive role as Chief Security Officers of their states, citing their logistics support, early-warning mechanisms, and community engagement programmes as vital tools in preventing and mitigating security threats.
He also praised traditional rulers for strengthening trust and mediation, as well as women and youth groups for driving community vigilance and post-conflict recovery. Religious leaders and civil society organizations were equally recognized for combating misinformation and championing peacebuilding and reintegration initiatives.
Reiterating the President’s directives, Minister Badaru called for sustained momentum among the Armed Forces and security agencies in enhancing intelligence-sharing, strengthening interagency coordination, and improving protection for schools and rural communities vulnerable to attacks.
