Stanley Nwabali – The Super Eagles had not too convincing performance against Carthage Eagles. His time wasting towards the end of the game caused him a yellow card.

Samuel Osayi – The right full back stepped up his game compared to his performance against Tanzania. I don’t think he should be blamed for the VAR induced penalty Nigeria conceeded.
Rating = 6/10
Bruno Onyemaechi – The left full back had his first feel of the tournament after starting at the expense of Zaidu Sanusi and he did not disappoint. Simply put, he played well.

Alex Iwobi – This is looking like Iwobi’s tournament with his superb creativity in the midfield of the Super Eagles. His defence – splitting pass to Osimhen in the build- up to Nigeria’s second goal was world class.

Frank Onyeka – Another energetic midfielder that gave Nigerians joy with his performance. Super Eagles appeared to have struggled when he was replaced for Chidera Ejuke.

Adams Akor – The attacker had his impact in the game, tracking back when the team is under attack.
Rating = 6/10
Ademola Lookman – He assisted Victor Osimhen in the first goal Nigeria scored, also had a goal to your name and tormented Tunisian defenders in the game.
Rating = 8/10
Victor Osimhen – He had a very good game. His bullet header goal was a typical striker’s goal, but he got a needless yellow card in the game.
Rating = 7/10
Substitutes
Moses Simon – He replaced Akor Adams in the game at a time when the Tunisians were piling pressure against the Super Eagles. Nigeria did more of defending and he helped Bruno Onyemaechi to check mate the rampaging Tunisians.
Rating = 5/10
Chidera Ejuke – The Sevilla of Spain had his first game in the tournament. Super Eagles were defending more, but when he missed a golden chance to shut the Tunisians up with Nigeria’s goal. He should have passed the ball to Osimhen, who was in a better position to score.
Rating = 5/10
Chidozie Awaziem – No time to really assess him.
Rating = Certificate of attendance.
Despite the some scary moments towards the end of the game, Super Eagles deserved the three points at stake.
