CAF has officially confirmed that Wilfred Ndidi is eligible to feature for the Super Eagles in Sunday’s crucial playoff showdown against the Leopards of DR Congo.
It was gathered that CAF explained that yellow cards accumulated during the World Cup qualifying rounds do not carry over into the continental play-offs involving four teams.
Ndidi was very outstanding for the Super Eagles against the Panthers of Gabon, where he lasted for 120minutes, despite picking up a yellow card early in the first half.
