Zamfara State Governor, Alh. Muhammad Bello Matawalle has congratulated Ibrahim Musa Gusau following his emergence as the new Nigeria Football Federation President in the recently concluded NFF elective congress that took place in Benin, Edo State, South-South Nigeria.
Alh. Matawalle made the congratulatory in public while receiving the new NFF President at the Zamfara State Governor’s lodge in Maitama, Abuja on Sunday.
The governor expressed his delight with the outcome of the election and urged the new NFF supremo to bring in his robust ideas and wealth of experience in football administration in piloting the affairs of the Federation.
The governor further added as Chairman of Zamfara State Football Association and a former Sports Commission Chairman of the state, he believes the experience of the new NFF boss in sports administration and management will be telling in the growth and development of football in the country.
Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau was on Friday, 30th September, 2022 elected as the NFF President during the federation’s elective congress in Benin.
Prior to his election, Gusau served as the Chairman of Chairmen under former NFF President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick led Exco and was in April this year appointed by CAF as Youth Organizing Committee member.
