Why Nigeria is going haywire – Bishop Henry

Bishop Henry Oliseyenum, the Presiding Bishop of Blessed Chapel International, Abuja  has said that  the reason Nigeria is going haywire is the fact the country has refused to be alone with God reports www.totorinews.com.

This was disclosed to the Blessed faithfuls on Sunday, while delivering the sermon titled “Alone with God ” with scriptural text taken from the book of Genesis 32 verse 24 – 28, as he cited the spiritual experience of biblical Jacob , who wrestled with God in prayer and that experience changed his story forever for good.

“The reason things are going haywire in Nigeria is because we have forgotten the aspect of been alone with God.  Nigeria must learn to be alone with God. The people of Nigeria must learn how to wrestle in prayer with demonic forces that wants to pull this country down”. Bishop Henry said.

“To be alone with God is to be at the place of prayer where we can pray to God and wrestle with supernatural forces. You will will learn how to wrestle with forces of darkness in prayer. Joseph was alone in the world until he decided to be alone with God and when you are alone with God, you cannot be alone in the world”, he added.

“Everything about Joseph changed when he was alone with God in prayer. God blessed him, changed his identity and he became Israel. All we need as a nation is to be alone with God.  Nigeria should be alone with God and things will change positively.

“I am not talking about APC change or PDP promises, but change that is built on God. A man cannot be too rich or too busy that he should not find time to be alone with God in prayer. Leaders of this country at every sphere of life must create time to seek the face of God in prayer in order to move this country forward with positive change.

“And as we find time to be alone with God, the blessings of God will locate us in our chosen endeavours and every negative situation will begin to work in our favour”, he said.
