He assured the team that the NFF and the Task Force Committee will ensure that the team will be highly motivated to excel in Egypt and qualify for the FIFA U 20 World Cup to be hosted in Indonesia in June, 2023.
“The task force committee members are equal to the task of ensuring that Flying Eagles will not disappoint Nigeria. We want this team to make Nigerians happy and we need total disciple from the players, no excuses at all,” Kurfi said after the training of the Flying Eagles on Wednesday evening at the practice pitch of the MKO Abiola stadium.
“You must listen and play to the instructions of the coaches. All the players in the camp must be very disciplined. The task ahead is for this team to qualify for the FIFA U 20 World Cup in Indonesia.
He continued, “Super Eagles did not qualify for this World Cup in Qatar, it is painful, but NFF is determined that the Flying Eagles will put Nigeria football on the world map again with quality football in Egypt and hopefully in Indonesia.
