Ghanaian goalkeeper, Mohammed Nuru Bandawu that plies his trade with ASFOSA Fc of Lome, Togo, has said that he expects the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria to play the Black Starlets of Ghana in the final of WAFU B U 17 tournament.
The opening game of the tournament is on Tuesday between the host nation, Togo and Niger.
He disclosed this with Totori News in an exclusive chat, as he stressed that the pedigree of both teams in youth football in Africa is a factor that made him to think in that direction.
“I expect both Nigeria and Ghana to do well in this tournament and play in the final,” Bandawu told Totori News in Lome, Togo.
“Nigeria and Ghana have good records at the U 17 level and both countries are very strong footballing nations in Africa. So, I expect them to play in the final.
“But Ghana will beat Nigeria 2-0 in the final,” he concluded.
