Mavlon Fc will file out into the pitch in their first game against Jovenes Promesas U-19 team of Spain in Group Con Tuesday.

“Mavlon is keenly interested to nurture talented footballers into future stars in the round leather game. That’s the main focus of the team and it is our desire to see this manifest here at this tournament in Italy.

“Most of the players are very young, mostly players below 17 years old and these players have the capacity to bring unto the field  what the coaches have taught them during different training sessions in Nigeria.

“To play against a Spanish side will not be easy. No easy football games, but we hope to start strong against Jovenes Promesas on Tuesday by the grace of God,” he said.

Hassan is a retired grassroot footballer who had his university education in Russia.
