Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has joined Saudi Arabian side Al- Ittihad Ladies from English side Leicester.
The England born technically gifted left footed player was part of Nigeria’s team to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The Saudi club announced the move via its official Twitter handle. The 25 year old also confirmed the development and expressed happiness about her new adventure.
Formalities have been completed and the Nigerian will soon be unveiled to the Yellow fans before she makes her debut.
