Ahead of the AFCON clash between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea in Group A, Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles is very optimistic of a favourable outing for the team, reports www.totorinews.com.
Speaking at the press conference on Saturday at the Olympique Alassane Quattara D’ebimpe, in Abidjan, the highest capped Nigerian footballer said that the Super Eagles will do the talking on the pitch.
He further said that comments on the social media does not determine his performance on the pitch.
“Comments on the social media does not bother me. I see the comments on social media, but I don’t listen to what people say. I work hard always so as to do my own talking on the pitch,” Ahmed Musa said.
“This is the same thing my team mates are doing. People talk about our players but I say we have the best players here and they are all good,” he added.
