Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has joined Italian Serie A side Udinese from English Championship team Watford.
Okoye who has been capped 13 times by the Nigeria National team was restricted to bench roles at the championship side, he featured just twice for the Hornets in Cup competitions last season.
The former Sparta Rotterdam number one goalie who did not make any Championship appearance for Watford since joining them ahead of the 2023/2023
season will be hoping to revive his career with the Italian side.
He was Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon where the Super Eagles were eliminated in the round of 16.
