“We appreciate His Excellency Aminu Waziri Tambuwal for creating the enabling environment for the Foundation.

“There are many talents in Sokoto but they lack opportunities to compete, we want to use football to discover the hidden talents across Sokoto and give them hopes. We need to produce more of Shehu in Sokoto”.

In addition, the Sokoto-born player talked about the two other programs lined up for this month.

He said; “We have two other programs this month, we want to run a massive campaign on drug abuse and educate our Youths. It’s important we impact knowledge and guide our future leaders to live a positive and productive life, the Foundation want to inspire the Youths.

We want to support them with books, pens, bags and other school materials that will propel them to success in the future. We can’t leave everything in the hands of government, we should also support them and empower the Youths,” Shehu concluded.
