Nigeria’s rave of the moment in Belgium top- flight league with six goals from nine games for KRC Genk, Tolu Arokodare has said that he will continue to work hard and possibly earn a Super Eagles call- up very soon.
In an exclusive chat with Totori News, the former Box 2 Box FC of Lagos striker said that it is a dream for every player to play for his senior national team and he hopes it will manifest soon, as he remains focused on helping his club to achieve success this season.
“I will keep on working hard and ensure that all goes well for me and the club this season. The most important thing for me is to remain focused, keep improving and hopefully, the Super Eagles invitation will come soon,” Arokodare said.
Arokodare has been very instrumental to Genk this season, where the club is currently leading the table with 22 points from seven games. His goals have made Genk to be very formidable in Belgium.
At 23 years, the former Golden Eagles has gathered some years of experience playing with four European clubs, where he has scored 56 goals in 157 league games at the last count.
Little wonder that Genk manager Thorsten Fink is of the firm opinion that he is the best striker in Belgium judging by his conmittment, passion for the game and his eyes for scoring goals.
“Believe me, there is no better striker in Belgium than Tolu,” said Thorsten Fink as per Voetbal Belgie.
