Senator (Dr) Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebube – Chukwu Uzo), the representative of Anambra South Senatorial District in the Senate, under the All Progressive Congress (APC) has thrown down the gaunlet, asserting his readiness to challenge Governor Chukwuma Soludo of APGA in the upcoming 2025 governorship election.
According to a reliable insider source, when he was speaking with conviction in his home-town of Nnewi, he emphasized that he perceives Soludo not as an adversary but as someone engaging in opposition against him.
Unveilling his intentions to contest the governorship seat against Soludo, who represents the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Senator Ubah showcased his preparedness and determination for the up-coming electoral contest.
According to him, his vision is to bridge the gap between the state and National government, utilizing this connection to address long standing issues afflicting Anambra state.
“We need a governor whose primary reason for running for the governorship seat of the state is to make our Anambra state a secure place for human development”, Senator Ubah stated.
He envisions a leader who not only ensure the security of lives and property but also makes life meaningful for the citizens, enabling them to realize and maximize their potentials.
Moreover, Senator Ubah emphasized the importance of action matching word, rejecting the idea of deceptive promises.
He believes that after years of deception, the people of Anambra deserves tangible results.
” Our people have been deceived long enough. They need action now.
“It is in recognition of the enormous challenges facing Anambra state today and the grave implications for our future generations that made me to come out and contest for the governorship seat”, Snator Ifeanyi Ubah concluded.
The Senator’s confidence is buoyed by the recent success of his candidates against the allied force of APGA during the National Assembly re-run election last saturday 3rd Febuary 2024.
This triumph has further fuelled Ubah’s belief in his capacity to lead and bring about positive changes in Anambra State.
