Play to your strength, beat Angola – Malomo- Paris charges Super Eagles

As football loving Nigerians look forward to the crucial quarter-final clash between Nigeria and Angola, Donald Malomo – Paris, Nigerian UEFA licenced coach in United Kingdom has charged the Super Eagles to play to their strength.

In an exclusive chat with www.totorinews.com, he affirmed that the only way victory will go the way of Nigeria is for the Super Eagles players to file out unto the pitch and subdue the Palancas Negras with their strenght, creativity and precision in the final third.

“We need to play to our strength. Alex Iwobi is very creative and Jose Peseiro should allow him to express. You can see the manner Super Eagles scored the second goal against Cameroon,” Malomo- Paris began.

“It was pure creativity and finese in the final third. It was classic combination play between three players – Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and Calvin Ughelumba.

“That is the kind of football Nigerians expect from the Super Eagles. That is playing according to your strength in terms of creativity and delivery in the final third.

“Victor Osimhen is one the best strikers in the world. We should be playing to his strength, but the team is not yet playing to his strength.

Angola are not pushover, they are very strong, but the team is not as talented as the Super Eagles. That is the obvious fact.

“The defence of the Eagles has been fantastic, only conceded a goal in four games. That is showcasing your strength in the ability of defend, which is good.

“But the strength must be seen at every department of the team and the attack must show the killer finishing prowess to subdue Angola,” he said.
