The zero- medal performance of Team Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Olympics has been described as a reward for poor preparations by Bar. Freddie Eruli- Ede, www.totorinews.com reports.
The sports ethusiast was among the few Nigerians that came to support Nigerian athletes in Paris, sadly, there was nothing to cheer from Team Nigeria. No podium achievement.
“Team Nigeria performed in line with their preparations. Most of the preparations were done hurriedly and suddenly” Bar. Eruli- Ede told www.totorinews.com in Paris, France.
“Nigeria must learn to prepare at good time. Now, the Olympics has ended, we should start preparing for the next Olympics, they don’t need to wait for few months to the Olympics to start preparation.
“They should prepare in good time and make sure that the Athletics, sports men and women have all their needs to make them excel in Los Angeles,” he said.
