It has been exclusively revealed to www.totorinews.com that over 500 football coaches have applied for the Super Eagles and Golden Eaglets vacant position.
It was further gathered that over 95% of the football technocrats are Indigenous coaches spread across Nigeria and diaspora.
“The last time I checked, I can tell you that over 500 coaches have applied to become the Head coach of the Super Eagles and Golden Eaglets respectively,”the NFF official told www.totorinews.com in Abuja.
“Many Nigerians coaches who are based in the country and the diaspora have all shown interests for the two vacant positions.
“We hope that the two successful candidates at the end of the exercise will take Nigeria football to greater heights,” he said.
Finidi George, Emmanuel Amunike, Daniel Amokachi, Sunday Oliseh, Donald Malomo-Paris, Salisu Yusuf are some of the notable names that have applied for the Head Coach position of the Super Eagles.
