My Administration Will Develop Football Talents In Kogi- Wada

Hassan Wada, who emerged as the new chairman of Kogo State FA a month ago has said that his administration will search for more football talents and nurture them to greatness, reports www.totorinews.com

Wada disclosed this during the One- Day FIFA Talent Development Program in Abuja on Thursday while speaking to the media, as he commended Ibrahim Gusau – led NFF board for the plans the Federation have to develop the game at the grassroot across the country.

“This seminar is a welcome development. What we have heard from the NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau is actually the way forward. It is also part of the plans we have to develop football talents in Kogi State,” Wada told www.totorinews.com

“One of the goals of my administration of football in the state is to develop football talents in Kogi State. 

“A State that produced Abdul Sule, former Super Eagles player cannot be considered an outsider when it comes to football talents. We will implement tournaments that will help to discover these talents.

Speaking further, he also informed that the FA will give Kogi United all the support the team needs to excel this season.

“Kogi United is a team for Kogites. We will continue to support the team for football excellence in the league,” he said.

Ibrahim Ndala, a member of 2001 Golden Eaglets team to Trinidad and Tobago is another prominent former footballer that is an indigene of Kogi State.
