A very explosive game between two great teams, Mavlon Fc of Lagos and Mahanaim Fc of Abuja ended 1-0 in favour of the Lagos based team, reports www.totorinews.com.
The friendly game which was played at the Cappa stadium in Oshodi, Lagos, witnessed exciting football from both teams to the admiration of the football fans who watched the encounter.
However, Sunday Ochei’s goal for Mavlon Fc nailed the ambition of Mahanaim to pull an upset against the host team.
Mavlon had more chances in the second half, but were not clinical enough to increase the tally. The team was also awarded a penalty by the referee, which was unfortunately wasted by Charles Agada, who captained the side.
Mahanaim Fc is one of the formidable teams based in Abuja and it was a good test game for both sides that parades very young talented footballers.
