LMC Endorse Owumi As New CEO of the LMC

The General Assembly of League Management Company has endorsed the appointment of Prince Davidson Owumi of Rangers International FC of Enugu as the new CEO of the league body, reports www.totorinews.com

The Executive Secretary of Nigeria Professional Football Club Owners Association, Alloy Chukwuemeka said that Owumi received a rousing applause by the General Assembly which was also attended by the representative of the NFF President Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau,  even as he assured that he would bring to the table his wealth of experience to add more value to the system.

Earlier the LMC had announced that more sponsors and partners would be unveiled soon to boost the revenue streams of the league aside NPFL television coverages of the league and other activations.

Owumi is not new to Nigeria Football having proved himself both locally and internationally with pinnacle of his achievement came in 1993 when he claimed the golden boot award of the Nigeria league. Before securing the appointment of NFF, he is the current General Manager and Chairman of the Rangers International FC. He guided Rangers to break 32-year jinx in the NPFL when the Enugu State based club won the league in 2016.
