The Chairman Football Association Katsina State Chapter Alhaji Aminu Balele Kurfi has pledged to construct a new secretariat for the Association to enhance their activities.
Alh Aminu Balele Kurfi ‘DAN’AREWA’ gave the pledge shortly after witnessing a match between Super Tigers Funtua against Eagle Stars of Mai’adua in the ongoing DAN’AREWA Progressive Unity Cup Football Competition.
The State F.A Chairman Alh Aminu DAN’AREWA who commended the organisers of the competition for the honor done to him, promised to device for more ways of assisting the private clubs in Katsina State.
Alh Aminu Balele Kurfi similarly promised to fence the football Fitch of Umar Faruq Township Stadium Daura for more conducive atmosphere, as well as looking on the possibility of rehabilitating Katsina Township Stadium if approved by the state government.
He assured his readiness to support the administration of Malam Dr Dikko Umar Radda in continue promoting sporting activities in Katsina State.
Earlier, the organising committee Chairman for the conduct of the competition, Alh Sani Abu Dauda expressed gratitude to the State F.A Chairman for finding time to witness the match in the ongoing competition despite his tight schedule.
The tough encounter between Super Tigers Funtua and Eagle Star’s Mai’adua ended two goals apiece after 90 minutes of the game were Super Tigers of Funtua emerged Victorious through penalty kicks by 4️⃣ goals to 1️⃣.
