Former NPFL star Jonathan Alukwu is making waves in Austria with his new club, Askö Oedt. The Nigerian youngster has scored two goals in his first two appearances for the team, announcing his arrival in style www.totorinews.com reports.
Alukwu’s latest goal came in the 70th minute of Askö Oedt’s 5-0 thrashing of Treibach in the Regional League Central. The team’s captain, Florian Fellinger, opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, followed by Valdir Henrique’s double and Philipp Frühwirth’s third goal. Alukwu’s strike in the 70th minute added to the rout, before Valdir Henrique completed his brace in the 77th minute.
This impressive performance follows Alukwu’s debut goal against Austria Vienna in the Austria Cup on August 28, 2024. The Nigerian forward is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Austria, with his pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability on full display.
