Godwin Udonta, the sports-loving Transition Committee Chairman of Ikot Abasi Local Government, surprised Akwa United FC players on Tuesday with a visit during their morning training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Hon. Udonta, who is a long-time fan of the club, took the opportunity to express his unwavering support for the team by donating 30 packs of bottled water to them, commended their dedicated training, and urged them to maintain their fighting spirit, stating, “I am firmly behind you every step of the way.”

His encouragement extended to the club’s management, led by the ever-present Elder Paul Bassey. Hon. Udonta expressed his appreciation for their ongoing efforts in guiding Akwa United to success.
