Ghana premier league will be filled with more excitement with the entrance of German football legend, who just bought Accra Lions.
Lothar Matthäus won the 1990 World Cup for Germany and has taken his interest in African football to another dimension by investing in the purchase of Accra Lions.
The 1991 World Player of the Year, Matthäus bought Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions, alongside two other partners; Ghana forward Frank Acheampong and football agent Oliver König.
It is believed the club was valued around €2 million.
