Ahead of the match day 2 fixture of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), this weekend, Tope Bolus, the coach of Katsina United has said his team expects a difficult game against Kano Pillars.
Katsina United won the maximum points at stake against Kwara United last weekend in Katsina, but visiting Pillars in Kano is another different ball game entirely that promises to be explosive judging by rivalry between the two teams from North West of Nigeria.
“It is good to begin the league with a good result. Beating Kwara United was a good effort from the team and we want to continue with another good result this weekend in Kano,”Bolus said.
“We expects a difficult game when we play Pillars. There are no easy games, but we hope to stick to our tactical formations in order to get the desired result that will make the management and fans of the club to be happy.
“We know what to expect and we are equal to the task. We are playing a very good side and if we remain focused all through the 90minutes, we will not leave Kano empty handed,” he said.
