Eriksen survives cardiac arrest on the pitch

Reports reaching www.totorinews.com indicates that the worst is over for Christian Eriksen after he slumped on the pitch.

His teammate threw the ball at him, he moved to control the ball and fell suddenly. He was unmarked.

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen was given chest compressions (CPR) after collapsing on the field during a European Championship game against Finland.
Eriksen fell to the ground near the sideline late in the first half and was immediately surrounded by medical personnel.


The immediate medical response revived him to consciousness and he was seen leaving the stadium on a stretcher, breathing and looking better compared to the moment when he slumped on the pitch unmarked.
