Ahead of the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Brazil, Abba Muhammed Mouktar, the chairman of the FCT Football Association is very optimistic that Golden Eaglets will be very strong to challenge for the ultimate prize, totorinews reports.
Mouktar, one of the football stakeholders that watched the screening exercise of the team at the FIFA goal project on Friday at the MKO stadium, Abuja said that he is impressed in the quality of the screening sessions and he hopes that everything will work out fine quickly for Manu Garba and the technical crew in their quest of having a very formidable team capable of winning the tournament in Brazil.
“I think it is very good that the camp has started. Though, the time is short and I hope that this camping process will quickly build something special going to the world cup.” Mouktar said.
“I am very optimistic that the Eaglets will be very strong at the World Cup in Brazil. I’m sure that Manu, Ugbade and the rest will come good with a decent team that will make Nigeria proud at the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Brazil,” he added.
