Eaglets reply Manu Garba with 19 goals after his advice

Golden Eaglets celebrate one of their goals against V.P Sports on Tuesday, which ended 10 - 2 in favour of the Nigerian cadets.

Following the advice given by Manu Garba (OON),that Nduka Ugbade led technical crew of the Golden Eaglets should work more on the art of goalscoring, the team have responded by scoring 19 goals in two friendly games, reports www.totorinews.com

Manu, a former coach of the Eaglets, who won the 2013 FIFA U-17 tournament in United Arab Emirates, watched the team in the 3- 1 spanking of Galadima Fc on Sunday, but he was not too impressed with the attackers for missing so many goalscoring opportunities, especially in the second half.

“It was a good test game for the National U-17 team. What I love much in this team is their commitment and confidence of the players to play,” Manu Garba said.

“But they must have to work on converting the chances created into more goals. The attackers must finish well to get the ball into the net,” he emphasised while speaking to www.totorinews.com after the game on Sunday.
