Asaba, Delta State – The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor made a special appearance at the ongoing 8th National Youth Games held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba www.totorinews.com reports
On Tuesday, Hon. Guwor presented medals to deserving young athletes, celebrating their achievements and showcasing his support for youth athleticism. This gesture underscores his commitment to promoting sports development in Delta State.
In recognition of his contributions, Rt. Hon. Guwor received an Award of Excellence from the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) at their secretariat in Asaba.
“Rt. Hon. Guwor’s involvement in events like the National Youth Games highlights the importance of nurturing young talent and promoting a culture of excellence in Delta State,” said a SWAN representative.
The National Youth Games aim to identify and develop young athletes from across Nigeria, promoting unity and national pride through sports.
