Enyimba FC’s new boy Alalade Balogun expresses excitement after scoring his debut goal for the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions.
Balogun joined the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions on a six-month deal with an option to extend.
His impressive performance in the Nigeria National League for Smart City caught the attention of the NPFL champions. He also played for MFM FC from 2018 to 2022.
As part of Kanu Nkwankwo’s project at Enyimba FC to invest in youngsters as they hope to build a formidable squad for the future Balogun happens to be part of the plans.
However, Balogun came off the bench and scored in the 67th minute to give Enyimba FC the lead against Niger Tornadoes on matchday 26, Balogun expresses his feelings after his debut goal while speaking with www.totorinews.com.
“I feel very happy because I’ve been looking forward to a day like this in my career,” Balogun said.
“I will keep working hard, keep improving and hoping to score more goals for Enyimba,” he said.
