Nigeria carting home with four awards at the CAF Awards on Monday night in Marrakech, Morocco has been described as a good aura for Nigeria football under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, reports www.totorinews.com

In an exclusive interview with , Edema Fuludu, former Super Eagles player, a member of 1994 AFCON winning team, said Victor Osimhen, Asisat Oshoala,  Chiamaka Nnadozie all winning individual awards and Super Falcons adjudged as the best women’s team in Africa portends positive vibes for NFF and every football stakeholders in the country.

“What happened to Nigeria football at the CAF Awards is worthy of celebration. Victor Osimhen, best footballer in Africa in 2023, Asisat Oshoala winning the women’s version and Chiamaka Nnadozie, the number one goalkeeper in Africa are all positive vibrations for Nigeria and NFF should be commended too,” Edema told www.totorinews.com.

It is a good aura for Nigeria Football under Gusau and we have to sustain it. There are some challenges in our football and also positives that we can take.

“I think the positives are getting bigger and better under Gusau and these CAF Awards, especially Osimhen winning African footballer of the Year 24 years after Kanu Nwankwo won it, clearly portend good omen for Nigeria football,” he said.
