A truck belonging to Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company (Sterling Global) has been involved in a serious road accident at Ikot Oku Ikono Junction, Ekom Iman, in Uyo www.totorinews.com reports.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed. The truck reportedly veered off course, leading to a collision that caused significant damage in the area.
Fortunately, no casualties were recorded. However, the crash resulted in heavy damage to a mini-bus, several motorcycles, and other nearby properties.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident as investigations continue to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash.
