Next Cash and Carry shopping complex in Abuja is presently on fire as the time of filing report for www.totorinews.com.
The cause of the fire incidence is unknown, but the consolatory information gathered is that none of the staff injured and no fatality recorded.
An eyewitness, Yakubu Ayuba informed that the people living in Kado Kuchi village rallied themselves together as.they stormed.the shopping complex to help in the evacuation of the staff out of.the vast building.
“Immediately we saw smoke in the air, we traced it to Next Cash and Carry. Luckily, all.the staff were not injured and nobody died before the fire became more damaging to their lives,” Ayuba said.
“Nobody knows the cause of the fire outbreak. I hope that this shopping complex is insured, if not the owner has lost billions of naira,” he added.
This is the second time a popular shopping complex will be on fire this year in Abuja. Popular Ebeano super market in Logogoma, Abuja suffered this cruel fate some months ago.
