Match winner ...Rasheedat Ajibade celebrates her goal against Cameroon.

Rashedat Ajibade’s 56th minute goal for the Super Falcons earned Nigeria semi – final ticket at the WAFCON tournament in Morocco and a ticket to represent Africa at the FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co- hosted by New Zealand and Australia next year.

A sublime dribbling runs from Ngozi Okobi – Okeoghene, displacing three Cameroonian players in the process, before passing the ball to Ifeoma Onumonu, who crossed the ball and was powerfully headed into the net by Rashedat Ajibade.

It was a very cagey game between both teams rated first and second best team in Africa, but the Super Falcons did the needful to put smiles of the faces of football loving Nigerians at the end of 90minutes.
